Tasting Notes

Brambly blackberry, dusty red cherry, hints of violets, dark chocolate, smoked meats, and crushed stone. Seamless and silky in texture, finishing with fine grain, silty tannins and a long, drawn out finish.

  • Appellation: Labry Vineyard, Rutherford, Napa Valley
  • Vineyard Notes:100% Cabernet Sauvignon planted in 1998 Clone 7 on 039-16 rootstock
  • Production Notes: Hand picked, cluster and berry sorted to small, one ton fermenters. 25 Days on skins, gently basket pressed to 22mm thin stave French oak barrels
  • Aging: 20 months
  • Alcohol: 14.8%

  • Vineyard Notes: 100% Pinot Noir clones 115 and 667
  • Production Notes: Hand picked, optically sorted, fermented in 500L French oak puncheons, native primary and secondary fermentations, 21 days on skins, gently basket pressed to barrel via gravity. Aged in French oak
  • Aging: 11 months
  • Alcohol: 14.4%
